The cast is phenomenal and it came at a point in my life where it just seemed to coincide with my life. The mother/son relationship is very much the type of relationship I had with my mother, the older sibling reminded me so much of my older brother courtney, and it justs such a great film.</p> <p>4. <img src="http://media.tumblr.com/f13f54ce22c4b110a24c46444527646a/tumblr_inline_mktgkhvXpq1qz4rgp.jpg"/></p> <p></p> <p>What Dreams May Come- This film helped me question my religious beliefs because I was attending private school around this time and all I ever heard was basically good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell. This film explored the concept of what would happen if your soul mate goes to hell. It made me question if heaven is a place where all your dreams come true and a place with God then why would you have to sepreated by the people you love.</p> <p>5.<img src="http://media.tumblr.com/9992e08fda6ce1ac1f2dd9617130693f/tumblr_inline_mktgx5tOM71qz4rgp.jpg"/></p> <p>Scream- It may not be the horror film that you think of, but its the first horror film I can remember. I can&#8217;t even remember how many times I saw this movie. It caused me to start loving horror movies, to this day I am always down to go see a scary movie and it all starts back from scream. I wouldn&#8217;t say it shaped me, but more my taste in movies.</p> <p>6.<img src="http://media.tumblr.com/bbc87130661e921d2f117ed74d32fcd1/tumblr_inline_mkth5w0t2C1qz4rgp.jpg"/></p> <p>The Truman Show- Another movie that helped me form my religious beliefs, it plays on the whole is everything destined to be this way or do we have free choice. Sometimes I do feel like I am just a star of one big sitcom and everyone is just acting. Its just one of those movies that makes me think about things, even to this day.</p> <p>7.<img src="http://media.tumblr.com/59fe8403519ee624a70a0ebf21f45442/tumblr_inline_mkthkhhXas1qz4rgp.jpg"/></p> <p>The Broken Hearts Club- This movie helped me come to terms with being gay, helped me get a glimpse into what being gay really means. I wanted to be part of their group. When I first saw this movie I really did not know what it meant to be a gay man and this film showed me that its not about being a gay man but just being myself. My favorite line from this movie is &#8220;<span>A lot of people ask me when I first knew I was gay. Fact is, I don&#8217;t know. But what I do remember, what I can recall, is when I first realized it was Okay: It was when I met these guys. It always made me want a normal loving relationship instead of money. Sure the money would be great, but this movie showed me that the hapiness from family is what it is all about.</p> <p>9. <img src="http://media.tumblr.com/8686bba48457a2d6fb0ea252249e9133/tumblr_inline_mktilkC01A1qz4rgp.jpg"/></p> <p>Big Fish- This movie was just a movie again that made me believe in true love. Its just a spectacle movie, that makes me always have faith in tim burton that his next movie will be something like big fish.
